After Khunying Chanat Piya-uy, the president of Dusit Thani Plc, signed in an agreement to purchase shares in The Phillippines-based Phillippine Hoteliers, Inc, the purchase of shares could be divided into 3 times as follows: I. 1st purchase: Seller(s) Number % Selling price Total value (peso/unit) (baht) -Japan Airlines Co Ltd 1,844,547 -JAL Trading, Inc 25,453 Total 1,844,547 45.63 193.59 351,537,012.37 II 2nd purchase Seller(s) Number % Selling price Total value (peso/unit) (baht) -Japan Airlines Co Ltd 1,253,554 30.58 193.59 234,996,781.77 III 3rd purchase Seller(s) Number % Selling price Total value (peso/unit) (baht) -Japan Airlines Development Co Ltd 233,554 -Retail shareholders 158,069 Total 391,623 9.55 193.59 92,430,600.77 Repayments for the first two purchase were already made, but for the last one DTC on Dec 17, 1997 paid Bt78,371,061.39. The other valued 3,937,573.46 peso would be paid by Dusit Nikko Manila Hotel which expectedly is due by early Jan 1998. As a result, total shares in Philippine Hoteliers, Inc DCT is holing posts Bt3,515,177 units of 85.76% of registered capital.
