Dusit Thani Plc lost Bt34.4 m in Q2/1997 result compared with net profit at Bt27.9 m year-on-year, subciding Bt63.3 m becasue of following: 1.Dusit Thani Hotel and outside restaurants claimed net profit retreating Bt22.1 m. 2.Dusit Resort Phatya Hotel reported net profit subciding Bt4.1 m. 3.Commercial townhouses reported net profit contracting Bt17.6 m. 4.Income from administrative management earned Bt898,000 higher profit. 5.Hotel college 2.046 m baht 6.Interest receivable lower (32.629)m baht 7.Interest expenses lower 18.481 m baht 8.Operating expenses higher (8.262)m baht Profit before gain/loss of subsidiaries and joint ventures (63.447)m baht Gain/loss 80 m baht Total (63.367)m baht
