DTC REPORTS CAPITAL INCREASE PLAN Dusit Thani Corporation Plc (DTC) reported that the company would increase its paid-up capital from Bt405 million to Bt445.5 million by issuing 8,100,000 new shares at a Bt5 par value, totalling Bt40.5 million in accordance with the resolution by its board of directors on June 15, 1994. A total of 8,100,000 new shares will be allocated to its existing shareholders at a ratio of ten old shares to one new share, at Bt30 apiece. The company will close its registrar book for the right to subscribe shares from noon on June 30, 1994 to July 19, 1994. It also said the purpose for the capital increase plan is to invest in the company or hotel projects and the overseas tourism business. At present, DTC is considering many projects for investment.
