Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the earthquake that struck Myanmar on Friday, 28 March, sending tremors across Southeast Asia, including parts of Thailand

From the outset, we activated our stringent safety protocols to protect our guests and team members, and we are relieved to share that everyone at our properties in the affected areas of Thailand and the region is safe and well.

Following initial safety assessments conducted by our engineering teams, no major structural concerns have been identified. In alignment with official announcements confirming a low risk of aftershocks in Thailand, all Dusit Hotels and Resorts in the kingdom remain fully operational and continue to welcome guests as usual.

For additional peace of mind, further in-depth inspections are being carried out at our properties in impacted areas of Thailand in accordance with guidance issued by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and other relevant authorities. We will continue to take every necessary measure to ensure the ongoing safety and well-being of our guests and team members, which remains our highest priority.

We would also like to reassure all stakeholders that construction of Dusit Central Park continues as planned and that the project has been developed in full compliance with stringent safety standards, engineering best practices, and all relevant building regulations. Throughout the construction process, regular quality control and safety inspections have been conducted in alignment with international standards. We remain fully committed to upholding the highest standards of care, comfort, and peace of mind—and to welcoming all with the gracious hospitality that defines the Dusit experience.
