INTERIM DIVIDEND AND NEW DIRECTOR

To: President The Stock Exchange of Thailand The Board of Directors of Dusit Thani Public Company Limited held a meeting on August 14, 2002 had resolution as follows:- 1. Approved the distribution of interim dividend for the period of January to June 2002 at the rate of Baht 1.25 per share (Baht One and Twenty Five Stang) . According to the above mentioned the Company will close the Share Register Book on August 29, 2002 at 12.00 a.m. for the right to receive such dividend. The dividend payment will be on September 12, 2002. 2. Approved to appoint Mrs. Rossana Wang Gaw as a Board of Directors' member of Dusit Thani Public Company Limited effective from August 14, 2002 onwards in order to replace Mr. Osot Kosin, who had resigned.
