INFORM NET PROFIT FOR QUARTER 2'2001 INCREASE FROM YEAR 2000

Translation The Consolidated Financial Statements of Dusit Thani Public Company Limited as of June 30, 2001 showed the net profit in the amount of Baht 274.9 million which increased Baht 61.6 million or 29% when compare with the same period of year 2000. The reason of net profit increasing was the interest expenses decreased which was occurred the partial of loan repayment and sales and administrative expenses were also decreased, especially from Philippine Hoteliers, Inc. The other reason was in 2000 there was an impairment of Asset item while in 2001 there was not the such item. However, the such Financial Statements has opinion conflict between the Company and the Independent Certified Public Accountants subjecting the record of transaction that the Company paid the money on behalf of World Intertrade Corporation Co., Ltd. Therefore, the Independent Certified Public Accountants had reported the Review Report as in paragraph 3. The Company had issued the letter to consult with the Securities Exchange Commission and will inform when we receive their reply.
