EXPLANATION NET PROFIT INCREASED FROM YEAR 2000

TRANSLATION The Consolidated Financial Statements of Dusit Thani Company Limited for the quarters ended March 31, 2001 showed the net profit in the amount of Baht 173.94 million which increased Baht 130.18 million or 33.61% when compare with the same period of year 2000. The reason of net profit increasing was the interest expenses decreased which was occurred the partial of loan repayment and debt restructuring of a subsidiary company. The income from hotel business and hotel management business are nearly to the income in the same period of the last year while the cost of sales and sales and administrative expenses were slightly decreased.
