DELAYS SUBSCRIPTION & PAYMENT DATE

Previously, Dusit Thani Plc , following the 1/1997 extraordinary shareholders meeting held on Jul 18, 1997, was resolved to raise registered capital from Bt600 m to Bt850 m by issuing 25 m shares, Bt10 apiece, offered to Investment Partnership Affiliated to The Goldman Sachs Group LP and/or Goldman Sachs & Co at the price of Bt30 each. The subscriptiondate was scheduled on Sep 1-5, 1997 and repayment date on Sep 5. DTC announced the subscription and payment date may be delayed to Sep 30, 1997 as they are on the negotiation and some of key persons are committed with their works oversea.
